Bus drivers are susceptible to many dangers; in the last year, three have been assaulted in the metro area.

Unacceptable is the way Cincinnati Public Schools board member Mike Moroski described a decision announced Tuesday by SORTA, which operates Metro buses in Cincinnati, to eliminate XTRA routes students have used for years to go directly to CPS buildings.

CINCINNATI (WKRC) – A typical day on a Cincinnati street has vehicles and buses whizzing by.

“It was pretty easy to use as long as the bus was doing what it was suppose to do,” Nikita Anderson, a member of SORTA’s Rider Advisory Council, said.
